How do I transfer balances from another loan or credit card?

Balance transfers are an easy way to consolidate debt. By moving balances from high interest credit cards to lower interest cards, you can save money.

If you don’t have a Seattle Credit Union credit card yet, learn more about your options and apply online.

If you are an existing Seattle Credit Union cardholder, you can call us at 855.609.3580 or start the balance transfer process via Online Banking:

  1. Log into Online Banking
  2. Locate your credit card in Online Banking:
    • Desktop – Click on the Credit Card Account
    • Mobile – Click on Accounts > then click Credit Card Information
  3. Click on Menu > Click on Manage Card > then click Balance Transfer
  4. Enter the Payee information (the financial institution holding your current balance)

We’ll process and mail the check to the other financial institution
