Meet two requirements
Open a checking with the promo code YMCA. The code can be used online or in person. Make sure the account meets two of the three requirements:
- Set up a minimum of $500 monthly direct deposit
- Sign up for eStatements
- Complete 10 transactions a month
You and the YMCA get $100
After your account has been open and active for 90 days with the qualifiers met, you and the YMCA will receive $100. Your deposit will show in your savings account within 30 business days.

$100 REFERRAL RULES AND ELIGIBILITY DISCLOSURE
- Eligibility
- Referring Community Partner and Referred Member must, at the time of the referral:
- Referring Community Partner must be (person or business) in good standing with the credit union at the time of referral (account cannot be overdrawn, etc.).
- Be at least 18 years old at the time of referral.
- Referred Member must:
- Apply for and be accepted for Seattle Credit Union membership.
- Open a checking account with the promo code “YMCA” and engage in at least two (2) of three (3) the following within a “90-day engagement period”: 1) set up a minimum $500 monthly direct deposit; 2) sign up for eStatement; or 3) complete 10 transactions a month.
- Be a new member and cannot be a Seattle Credit Union member in the last twelve (12) months.
- Be a full member and main signer on accounts, not a “joint member.”
- Referring Community Partner and Referred Member must, at the time of the referral:
- Commitment
- For each qualifying Member Referral, the Referring Community Partner will receive a $100 “Referral Bonus”, and the new Referred Member will receive a $100 “Welcome Bonus.”
- The Referral Bonus will be posted to the Referring Community Partner’s membership savings account within thirty (30) business days of completion of the 90-day engagement period.
- Welcome Bonus will be posted to the new Referred Member’s membership savings account within thirty (30) business days of the completion of the 90-day engagement period.
- “Referral” and “Welcome bonuses” during a calendar year totaling $600 or more are reported on Form 1099-MISC.
