Cashier’s Checks
Cashier’s checks and money orders are a secure option when your payment needs to be guaranteed. You can request one from your Seattle Credit Union savings, checking, CD, or money market account—either in person or over the phone. Fees may apply.
Instant Issue
Get your debit card instantly—no need to wait for the mail. Visit a Seattle Credit Union branch and we’ll print your card on demand so you can start using it right away.
Wire Transfers
Move money quickly and safely with Seattle Credit Union wire transfers. Funds often arrive the same day.
Outgoing transfers
- By Phone: Call 800-334-2489 (Option 6) during business hours.
- In Branch: Bring a valid photo ID.
You’ll need the recipient’s name, address, account number, and routing number.
Processing Times
- Domestic wires submitted before 2:00 p.m. PT usually process same day.
- International wires submitted before 12:00 p.m. PT usually process same day.
Fees
- Outgoing Domestic Wire: $25.00
- Outgoing International Wire: $55.00
Stop payment on a check
In order to submit a stop payment, you can either go to a branch or call our member services team between the hours of 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Saturdays.
There is a $28.00 stop payment fee.
You will need to provide the following information:
- Check date
- Amount
- Check number
- Your member number
- Payee’s name and address
- Reason for the stop payment
- Your name and address
Notary services
All Seattle Credit Union branches offer free notary services to members. To find a location near you, use our location finder.
