How-To Set up Automatic Payments for Your Favorite Charity

For those of you that would like to give on a weekly, monthly or annual basis, there are several ways to set up automatic payments.

  • Set up a recurring bill payment in Online Banking. Choose the dates and amounts you’d like to pay to your favorite charity from your Seattle Credit Union checking account. Select the 'Make this a recurring transaction' box to give on whatever schedule works for you.
  • Sign up for an ongoing charge to your credit card. Visit the charity’s website and look for their donation link. Most charities will have an option for you to charge your donation and to set it up to happen as a recurring transaction.
  • Create a calendar reminder.  If you need to change the amount or timing of your donation, you can set a reminder in your phone or other electronic calendar to remind you to send your donation using your favorite payment method.
